Vpra\u0161ajte udele\u017eence ali poznajo kak\u0161ne pripovedi\/zgodbe o izvoru svoje etni\u010dne ali narodnostne skupnosti. Z njimi delite eno od pripoved o izvoru Romov in se pogovorite o pomembnosti zgodb na izvor naroda.<\/p>\n
Z udele\u017eenci razjasnite pomembne pojme za nadaljnjo razpravo, kot so: zgodovina, narativ, zgodovinski vir, manj\u0161ina, referen\u010dna to\u010dka. <\/p>\n
Udele\u017eence razporedite v manj\u0161e skupine in vsaki skupine podelite po en zgodovinski vir za analizo. Prosite jih, da preberejo tekste in s pomo\u010djo usmerjevalnih vpra\u0161anj analizirajo vire. Lahko uporabite vire v kazalu ali pripravite druge, ki so bolj relevantni v lokalnem okolju. Vsaka oseba ima pravico svobodno prakticirati vero, kulturo in tradicijo. Romanipe temelji na povezovanju skozi raznolikost.<\/p>\n Dr\u017eave morajo zagotoviti, da so romska zgodovina, izvor in usoda, preganjanje in skupnost vklju\u010dene v \u0161olski program. V ta namen morajo dr\u017eave in mednarodne institucije v sodelovanju z romskimi institucijami razviti program in ga brez odla\u0161anja umestiti v izobra\u017eevalne programe.<\/p>\n \u017de ve\u010d kot \u0161est stoletij, Romi \u017eivijo v Evropi. Na\u0161o zgodovino zaznamuje proticiganstvo1 , su\u017eenjstvo, diskriminacija, preganjanje, izklju\u010devanje, nasilje in genocid; ta zgodovina je bila zapisana s \u010dlove\u0161ko krvjo. <\/p>\n Mi Romi smo zaenkrat bili oropani pravice do prepoznavanja kot nacionalna manj\u0161ina. Tradicionalno se nas obravnava kot dru\u017ebeno obrobno skupino, kot socialni problem, ki ga je potrebno \u201cintegrirati\u201d s pomo\u010djo disciplinarnih ukrepov in dr\u017eavne represije.<\/p>\n Na\u0161o usodo so dolo\u010dali samooklicani strokovnjaki in specialisti; na\u0161o zgodovino so zapisali lingvisti in romologi.<\/p>\n Z diskriminiranjem jezika, obi\u010dajev, tradicije in kulture, s potvarjanjem na\u0161e zgodovine in na\u0161e identitete, se je ustvarilo goji\u0161\u010de za evropsko proticiganstvo.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ocenjevanje seminarjev bo izvedeno z napisanimi vpra\u0161alniki, saj se bo na ta na\u010din zagotovilo individualno perspektivo posameznikov. Vpra\u0161alnik vklju\u010duje osebno izku\u0161njo, premislek dolo\u010denih delavnic in splo\u0161nih vtisov in u\u010dnih dose\u017ekov. Poleg tega bomo izvedli vrednotenje, da dobimo skupinsko perspektivo in interaktivno vrednotenje o \u0161tevilnih te\u017eavah. Dolo\u010dili bomo \u0161tiri kote v sobi. V prvem kotu (stena z grafiti) bodo udele\u017eenci lahko pustili sporo\u010dilo za skupino. V drugem kotu bodo morali na tar\u010di dolo\u010diti, kako podrobno so se seznanili z glavnimi temami u\u010dne delavnice (spopadanju s proticiganstvom). V tretjem kotu bodo imeli bolj osebno nalogo, kjer jih bomo prosili, da delijo skrivnost z drugimi. Step 1: Introduction to Roma history and to relevant terminology (90 minutes)<\/h6>\r\nIntroduce participants to the main phases of Roma history by introducing their main characteristics. You can build a timeline together with them, making use of the knowledge the group already has. You can make use\r\nof the timeline suggested by the publication \u201cFactsheets on Roma history<\/a>\u201d\r\nAsk participants if they know any tales\/stories about their ethnic or national groups\u2019 origins. Share with them one of the fairy tales about the origins of Roma and discuss about the importance of stories on ethno-genesis.\r\nClarify with participants the important terms for further discussion, such as: history, narrative, historical source, minority, reference point.\r\n
Step 2: Small group work on historical sources (45 minutes)<\/h6>\r\nSplit participants in small groups and distribute to each group a historic source to analyse. Ask them to read the texts, and use the guiding questions to analyse the source. You can use the sources in the appendix or prepare others that are relevant at the local level. For each of the sources, the groups will find general guiding questions and specific ones.\r\nThe groups should be able to summarize the conclusions of their discussions in a 5 minute presentation to the plenary.\r\n
Step 3: Presentation of the group work and debrief (45 minutes)<\/h6>\r\nAsk participants to present the results of their work in the plenary. Allow only clarification questions at this moment from the group.\r\n\r\n\u00a0\r\n

How to further adapt<\/h5>\r\n\r\nYou can use sources relevant for the local history of the Roma community. You can also transform the introductory part into an activity of its own to allow participants to learn more about the history of the Roma.\r\n\r\n

1<\/h6>\r\nRoma is; who avows oneself to the common historical Indo- Greek origin, who avows oneself to the common language of Romanes, who avows oneself to the common cultural heritage of the Romanipe.\u00a0\r\n\r\n
2<\/h6>\r\nEvery person of our people has the right to self-determined designation, identity and community. Every person has the right to freely practice his\/her religion, culture and tradition. Romanipe is based on unity through diversity.\r\n\r\n
3<\/h6>\r\nStates shall ensure that Roma history, origin and fate, persecution and community are included in school curricula. To this end, States and international institutions shall develop such curricula in collaboration with Roma institutions and integrate\u00a0 them without delay into their educational systems.\r\n\r\n
4<\/h6>\r\nFor more than six centuries, we Roma have lived here in Europe. Our history has been marked by Antiziganism1 , slavery, discrimination, persecution, expulsion, violence and genocide; this history has been written with our people\u2019s blood.\r\n\r\n
5<\/h6>\r\nWe Roma have been deprived of recognition as a national minority group so far. Traditionally, we are regarded as a social fringe group, as a social problem that is to be \u201cintegrated\u201d by means of disciplinary measures and state repression.\r\n\r\n
6<\/h6>\r\nOur fate has been determined by self-appointed experts and specialists; our history has been written by linguists and gypsyiologists.<\/span>\r\n\r\n
7<\/h6>\r\nBy discrimination against our language, customs, tradition and culture, by falsification of our history and our identity, the breeding ground for European Antiziganism was created.\r\n\r\n\u00a0\r\n
CONCLUSIONS & FOLLOW-UP<\/h5>\r\n\r\nThe evaluations of the seminars will conduct with written questionnaires, in order to get an individual perspective of the participants. The questionnaire look into the personal experience, reflections of certain sessions and overall impressions and learning achievements. Additionally, we will\u00a0 conduct some evaluation activities in order to get a group perspective and interactive evaluation on a series of issues. We will set up four corners in the room. In the first corner (graffiti wall) the participants can leave a last message for the group. In the second corner they will have to put a point on a target, where we asked how familiar did they become with the main topics of the study session (challenging antigypsyism). In the third corner they\u00a0 will have a more personal task, they will be asked to share a secret with each other. In the last corner the participants will be asked to reflect what their biggest surprise was during the seminar and during the week.\r\n\r\n
